Payment & Fees
Privately Self-Funding Clients
For individual privately fee paying clients the fee is £50.00 for a 60 minute consultation.
Heartwork Services desire to make their services available for those who might otherwise be unable to access counselling services. We do have a certain number of discretionary appointments at a reduced rate. Eligibility for this is dependent on your income and the location of the appointment. Please contact us to find our more about this offer and to establish if you are eligible.
We have a variety of Payment Options which include:

BACS Transfer
The Bank account details to arrange a BACS Transfer can be provided at the point you arrange a consultation.
Debit or Credit Card
After the consultation you can settle your fee by credit or debit card. All major credit and debit cards accepted.
Cheque or Cash
All Cheques should be made payable to Heartwork Services (Scotland) Ltd.
Third Party and Private Medical Insurance
If clients are being funded by a third party, like an employer, the fees are agreed with the third party directly on a contractual basis typically at the standard rate for private clients specified above.
Heartwork Services is a recognised provider for WPA and Vitality. If you are funding Counselling through a Private Medical Insurance Policy then we will require information such as your insurance policy number and authorisation code before proceeding. We would also advise that there may be an excess payable by you depending on the type of policy you hold. We would propose that you contact your insurance provider to query matters with them directly if you have any concerns about this.
Cancellation Policy
From time to time it may become necessary for a consultation to be cancelled. On the rare occasion that a consultation is cancelled it is the practise of Heartwork Services to provide notice of this to you at least 24 hours before your consultation. In exceptional circumstances it may not be possible to give you notice 24 hours before your consultation. In situations like this we will advise you of the cancellation to as soon as reasonably practicable.

If for any reason you require to cancel your appointment it would be appreciated if you could give as much advance notice as possible. If you advise us of your requirement to cancel at least 24 hours before your consultation, there will be no fee for the cancellation. However, if you do not advise of the cancellation at least 24 hours before your consultation we will render a cancellation fee at the full standard rate for your session.
